| Will was invited to help run the second team in the early 1980s and it's a fitting tribute to his dedication the we keep his name alive with the annual award of 'Clubman Of The Year - for Will epitomized that very spirit with seemingly little reward. But when the second team was reformed Will had followed the juniors into senior football, shared their successes and witnessed the progress of many players, some of which later played Welsh League football.
|
| To appreciate, at the time Will had been a pensioner but quickly established himself as an active member of the committee taking sole charge of the second team and was always at hand to offer support on and off the field where we can still hear him shouting encouragement from the touchline in all weather. When the second team later disbanded Will continued with the club managing the team.

| Sadly missed, for those of us that remember Will, always appreciated.
