| Tammy first signed for Glynneath during the mid seventies having had schoolboy trials with Arsenal. Perhaps the most prolific goalscorer Glynneath has ever produced Tammy was undoubtedly destined for a higher level of football that Glynneath could offer. From the early eighties he played Welsh League football before a brief return to the club then later playing Premiere Neath league. He finally returned 'home' at the start of the nineties and has continued to play at various levels. From his travels he's well known throughout the football community but while he's made many friends off the field he continues to terrorise the opposition on the field.

| Tammy has always had the ability to score goals at every level but his greatest tally came while playing for Glynneath (Pontneathvaughen) in the Aberdare league in 1979-80 scoring no fewer than 66 goals.
